Extended Programme

Professor Fernando Ramôa Ribeiro, former head of CRERG group (IST, Lisbon), passed away on the 29th August 2011. In recognition of his great contribution to the scientific and the academic communities, namely in Heterogeneous Catalysis and Zeolites, his collaborators and coworkers have decided to organize a scientific symposium in his honour, to be held at Instituto Superior Técnico (UTL, Lisbon) on October 8-9, 2012.

The symposium under the theme: "Catalysis: From the Active Site to the Process" will cover the following topics: Catalysts preparation and characterization; Catalysis in Refining and Petrochemicals; Clean energy and Pollution Control; Kinetic Modeling of Catalytic Processes.
